A cultura popular é um elemento essencial à identidade de um povo. As tentativas insidiosas de apagar do imaginário do povo brasileiro sua cultura, seus mitos, suas lendas, representam a tentativa de destruir a identidade do nosso país. A história de todas as culturas até hoje existentes é a história de opressores e oprimidos. Hoje, como ontem, o Saci apóia, em qualquer lugar e em qualquer tempo, qualquer iniciativa no sentido de contestar a arrogância, a prepotência e a destruição de que é portadora a indústria cultural do império.
O Saci não se reivindica como símbolo único e incontestável da cultura popular brasileira. O Saci trabalha pela união e pelo entendimento das várias iniciativas culturais que devolvam ao nosso povo a valorização de sua identidade cultural. O Saci não dissimula suas opiniões e seus objetivos e proclama, abertamente, que estes só podem ser alcançados por um amplo movimento de resistência cultural, denunciando os malefícios da indústria cultural imperialista. Que ela trema à idéia de uma resistência cultural popular. Nesta, o Saci nada tem a perder a não ser seus grilhões. E tem um mundo a ganhar.

Qualquer pessoa pode participar, artistas, artistas postais ou qualquer outra pessoa ao redor do mundo enviando o trabalho com o tema " SACI ". Os trabalhos não deverão exceder o tamanho A4. Técnica livre e em qualquer midia. Não haverá júri e os trabalhos recebidos não serão devolvidos.
Documentação para todos os participantes e exposição online.
